Journey of the Book
The Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators held an exhibition at The Brisbane City Library called "Journey of the Book: Celebrating Books from idea to publication". Books and their ephemera were displayed in a series of glass cases in which authors and illustrators showcased the process of their creation – first drafts, letters to publishers, rough illustrations, and other bits and pieces that inspired their first idea to publication.
